Google Live Caption
Live Caption adds real time subtitles to any audio or video that plays on an android.
Role: Inclusive Design Consultant
Main Challenges: Building in user needs while keeping the the user interface simple.
Key Contributions: The user’s ability to move captions around the screen, the ability to switch between two and multiple line captioning views and an on demand button to access the captions (without having to navigate to the app).
The captions can be moved around the screen to accommodate different placement needs.
